Choosing a Colorado Certified Nursery Professional, or CCNP, means choosing the best. These folks are dedicated nursery and greenhouse professionals.
CCNP Certification requirements include:
- Passage of a rigorous half-day exam with a score of 75 percent or better in each area.
- Completion of a minimum of 2,000 hours of verifiable employment with a Colorado registered nursery, garden center, landscape contractor, or an allied industry.
- Specialized knowledge in four key product/service areas: perennials, trees, shrubs, and landscape design.
- Recertification is required every three years at which point the above steps are repeated.
